To sustain and stand out in today’s competition, software needs to be in continuous innovation mode. MSys offers Sustenance and Support functions for products across the gamut of Cloud, Storage, IoT and Analytics. This way, ISVs can divert their core engineering team to focus on product development while their existing products are being upgraded by us in real time, thus bringing down their overall cost of development.

Tools and Technologies used:

  • Configure and troubleshoot storage arrays (Raid arrays and JBODs) in NAS/SAN environment
  • Administration and configuration of SFA, and S2A systems
  • Setting up and troubleshooting IB, iSCSI, and FC SAN environments
  • Troubleshoot environments involving file systems – Exascaler, Gridscaler, and Web Object Storage
  • Perform Link Aggregation , Create and Configure LUN, and Perform Zoning on client network
  • Configure and troubleshoot connectivity to host, and switches
  • Configure Host Utility, and Multi path.
  • Perform RCA - Logs and reports
  • Troubleshoot and replace the defective hardware components (HDD, controllers, Power supply , Battery, and etc.
  • Document and create incident reports/cases in CRM tool
  • Upgrade warranty
  • Escalate and /or work with higher support levels , and other departments to provide timely solution and achieve customer success

Microsoft Exchange Server:

  • Provided solution (Backup server) to end E-mail downtime with Microsoft exchange server 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013.
  • Assisted various customers to update (and/or) upgrade their current E-mail solutions or migrate to Microsoft Office365.
  • Monitored all the appliances through Network Operation Centre (NOC) for alerts, and performance issues.
  • Perform RCA – Logs and reports.
  • Performed periodic maintenance and checkups pro-actively and shared reports with customers.
  • Document and create incident reports/cases in CRM tool.
  • Participated in various pre-sales activities and capture the customer requirement.
  • Escalate and /or work with higher support levels, and other departments to provide timely solution and achieve customer success.

Hyper converged Storage:

  • Troubleshoot both host level (ESXi 5.0) and array level (vSTAC OS).
  • Perform the Bare Metal Installation on new appliances.
  • Create array and volumes through vSTAC Manager Suite.
  • Configure and assign volumes to the appropriate ESXi host.
  • Create VM and configure vSwitch in ESXi, and Host failover framework.
  • Collect logs from ESXi and vSTAC array for Root Cause Analysis.
  • Upload the logs to FTP and process them through Triage Monkey Server.
  • Process hardware replacement such as Hard Drive, SSD Cache drive, Power Supply etc.

Cloud:

  • Developing a Cloud service provider foundation – Focusing on Infrastructure as a service.
  • Services such as Bare metal servers, VM, Database, and Websites
  • Vcenter and ESXi 5.5 environment.
  • Cloud infrastructure services using Windows Hyper-V, SCVMM, and Windows Azure Pack.
  • Automating Cloud services, monitoring and Performance tuning using third party tools such as Cloud Cruiser, Free NAS, and Open filer.
  • Participate in various pre-sales activities and capture the customer requirement.
  • Provide assistance in migration through Saas based product.
  • Create new license for migrations using Cassandra, and Mongo database servers.
  • Services including AWS, Vcloud, VSphere, and Vcloud Air as the target clouds.
  • Perform RCA using VMware logs.
  • Perform periodic maintenance and checkups pro-actively and share reports with customers.
  • Document and create incident reports/cases in CRM tool.
  • Escalate and /or work with higher support levels , and other departments to provide timely solution and achieve customer success
